About the Role
We are hiring for a Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize mission-critical blockchain infrastructure powering our trading operations. You will work at the intersection of distributed systems, low-latency engineering, and blockchain protocols — building robust, scalable systems to support node operations, data indexing, and secure computation.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver stable, efficient, and scalable blockchain node infrastructure.
- Build and maintain indexing systems that feed on-chain data to trading systems with high reliability and low latency.
- Proactively monitor and optimize infrastructure for performance, uptime, and resource efficiency.
- Track and adopt new developments across blockchain ecosystems — including protocol upgrades, new client implementations, indexing frameworks, and ecosystem tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and operate Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) infrastructure in support of secure computation and private trading strategies.
- Implement automated deployment and management pipelines using CI/CD and IaC best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues across services and levels of the stack; contribute to post-mortems and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in infrastructure or backend engineering, ideally with blockchain or crypto systems.
- Deep understanding of blockchain node architecture, syncing, and consensus mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience managing blockchain clients (e.g., Geth, Reth, Jito-Solana, etc).
- Proficiency in working with indexing frameworks (e.g., Tycho indexer or similar).
- Experience with containerization, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar).
- Familiarity with Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) such as Intel SGX, AWS Nitro Enclaves, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc).
- Scripting or programming proficiency in Python, Bash, Rust or similar.
- Knowledge of blockchain data structures (e.g., Merkle Trees, state diffs).
Nice to Have
- Exposure to trading systems or quantitative finance environments.
- Contributions to open-source blockchain infrastructure projects.
- Experience working in high-availability or low-latency environments.
